Shared medication tracker

One medication list everyone can rely on

MyCareBuddy is being built to give patients and trusted caregivers one shared medication tracker, with schedules, instructions and changes kept together instead of scattered across messages and handwritten notes.

Why it helps

Medication information changes. Your shared record should keep up.

A medicine can be added, stopped or adjusted after an appointment. When different people help with care, an old screenshot or paper list can quickly become the version somebody trusts by mistake.

A shared medication tracker gives the patient and invited caregivers the same up-to-date picture. It is useful when you manage your own treatment, when a partner helps, or when several relatives share responsibility for an older parent or child.

See what is current

Keep the medicine name, dose, strength, form, purpose and instructions together in a consistent record.

Coordinate without chasing

Trusted caregivers work from the same Care Circle rather than forwarding lists and asking who has the latest version.

Prepare for appointments

Bring an organised medication picture and note important changes or questions to discuss with the care team.

A practical starting point

What a useful family medication tracker should do

The safest organiser is the one people can understand and keep current. MyCareBuddy is designed around practical details, not a complicated clinical dashboard.

  • Show a clear current list without hiding the dose in free-form notes.
  • Keep schedules and recorded doses connected to the right medicine.
  • Make changes visible so the Care Circle knows what was updated.
  • Let a patient manage alone or invite trusted support when wanted.
  • Keep medication information private and separate from public marketing data.

MyCareBuddy helps organise and explain information. It does not diagnose, provide urgent help or replace a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified professional.

Questions people ask

Frequently asked questions

Can I use MyCareBuddy without a caregiver?

Yes. MyCareBuddy is designed for a patient managing their own care as well as for a shared Care Circle. You decide whether to invite anyone else.

Does a medication tracker replace advice from a pharmacist or doctor?

No. It helps organise the information you have been given. Medication names, doses and instructions should always be checked against the prescribing clinician or pharmacist.
